Meyer is Human = Meyer is Irrational

Since every post seems to end with comments about college football, it is only fitting to quote the venerable Orson Swindle, he of of the great EDSBS:

Our favorite part of all of this is watching those who assume human behavior falls into some kind of pattern or justified path sort through the various scattered threads of Meyer’s logic. “Why is this a matter of life or death 24 hours ago, and now it’s not?” “Why did he say something, and then say something else?” “WHY DO HUMANS CONFUSE ME SO?” Because they make no sense whatsoever, are indecisive, and often conflate the little Enlightenment ideal of humanity in your head by acting like a pack of macaques playing with a box full of lit fireworks?
Just because you can rationalize a decision, doesn't mean it is a fully reasoned, rational decision free of all emotion. Even the ridiculously successful, driven, talented, and calculating technician of football strategy and violent carnage that is Corch Urban is a deeply flawed and irrational human.

Hey, excuse my ignorance, but what is a "Corch"?
Or did you just prove your point?

It's an SEC thing, you wouldn't understand. Seriously, for the answer, and to laugh your ass off at the same time cry for this country, watch this video ASAP: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KgbBP9Em00A

I have seen that video before, and find it disturbing and funny.

As to Urban Meyer, I thought this article summed it up best. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/columns/story?columnist=forde_pat&id=4774715

A sample quote: "They just found out recently as we stepped on the plane," Meyer said, which means the family-first guy let his wife and kids be among the last to know."

I hope this kills them in recruiting. As an FSU fan, I'm happy because there is no way this helps Florida. Also, I find it a bit odd the way this particular Florida team acts. There is a lot of drama and crying, and Urban and Tebow remind me of the Cowher/Stewart days.

The article you linked makes it clear the guy is at least a little crazy, I just can't figure out if it is "severe emotional distress and needs help" crazy, or "disingenuous megalomaniac" crazy.

Meyer is not human. He's a robot... a robot that has learned how to emulate human thought, feeling and irrationality. In fact, the robot is so real, it seems more real than an actual human. FIGURE THAT ONE OUT BOOM.

Next thing you know, he'll be dodging bullets and morphing into a helicopter pilot.

Lumbee,
That youtube video is one of the main reasons why I'm on my students' (and friends') backs about spelling and diction. It's a great thing that the South did not win, if not, we would all be speaking that way.

This is what would have happened had the Romans stayed in power:
